Commissions are totally welcomed!
I need four things in order to get started; a 50% deposit, the size of the piece, the colors that you’d like to incorporate, and a basic understanding of the composition of the piece. Images of two of my paintings with what you like or dislike about them are extremely helpful for determining the composition and overall style of the commissioned piece. It also helps to have a photo of the room you will be installing the painting in.
Once I finish the painting I will send you images so we can make any necessary changes to the piece, if need be. These changes usually include change of color in the shapes, a change in the shapes themselves, more strokes or marks, etc.
I usually allow one set of changes, but it’s all about being fair to both parties. I want to be happy with the painting as well as you. The current lead time is ten weeks from the date the deposit is received.
